GuineaDad Timothy Hay has been my go-to when life gets busy, because it’s nice knowing my piggies have hay ready to go. But lately, the quality just isn’t the same. It’s starting to look like the bottom of a hay bin, and with their prices and taxes going up, it’s harder to justify:/ Just wanted to share some honest feedback hoping things improve, because my piggies have really enjoyed your stuff.

Guineadad has been really good quality all together. This last case I purchased was not. I get the moving locations and in high demand but I would prefer to have a back order instead of low quality food especially paying the same price. I will give it another shot and hope the next batch will be back to standard.
These have been so much better for not only my pigs respiratory system, but also mine and my partner. They're a lot easier to clean up after as well. Very worth it for us.

Normally my little girls enjoy Timothy Hay, but my last shipment was on the browner side. They pull all the brown hay out and toss it aside. Makes me feel like I am wasting money with uneaten hay. I am hoping my next box of hay is better.
My silly boys love this hay bar. My older male only did this once, but I thought it was too funny and had to share. But these are really a game changer. I used to throw out so much hay, now it takes weeks before I have to replace these and hardly throw out any hay with it. It also keeps the hay contained so much better and it is not all over the cage, just in one corner.
The quality of the hay is the best I have seen in all of my years of having small animals. I have been using this hay for 8 months and haven't had any disappointing deliveries when opening up the hay. Always fresh and my piggies and gerbils love it. (I only wish you sold it in bags because no matter what I do, my one crazy piggie climbs to the top and urinates in the hay so I have to ban her from having her own hay bar box. Haha I put her hay in her litterbox myself.) It is more expensive than the cheaper pet store hay but you definitely get what you pay for in this case. The quality is worth the added expense to me.

’ve been buying this Timothy hay for my guinea pigs for a long time, and it has always been reliable. However, my most recent orders did not live up to expectations. The hay was packed too tightly and the strands were unusually long, making it difficult for my pigs to pull it out as they normally do. As a result, they weren’t able to eat properly for a period of time, which is concerning and potentially dangerous for them. I hope this feedback helps bring attention to the issue so it can be improved and prevented in future batches.

Usually an excellent product, but the hay quality in this last shipment was not as good-lots of dead hay that piggies refused to eat. I had to throw away at least half of several bars. Hoping the next shipment will be better.
My piggies love this hay! I have 2 boys and they go through their hay like crazy. I love how soft and clean it is, the hay smell is so much better than the store bought ones. My allergies don’t bother me as much and my piggies no longer sneeze because there’s no dust in this hay. The 5 pack lasts me all month long. As soon as I’m on my last bag, my new ones come in the mail! I’m very happy and so are my piggies.

Very green and not overly dusty / dry hay. Fabio loves it, but we have to pull the hay out and put it in a bowl for him to eat. Nothing wasted, though.

We have 2 guinea pigs, one is 2 years old, the other is a year old. I have tried 2 other brands of hay with our boys and I keep coming back to this one. One of our piggies has allergy problems with hay dust, and both our boys are pretty picky with hay quality. Every time I bought Oxbow brand Timothy hay, there was a lot of dust and more hay in the bottom of the cage than what was being eaten. We also tried Small Pet Select, and I have tried a few versions of their hay. The price may be cheaper than Guineadad, but you get what you pay for. Every single time we got Small Pet Select, only about half of the hay was usable, and the rest was really brown. The last batch of hay we ordered from them was so dusty that I even had issues with breathing around it. The couple of times in the past I've ordered Guineadad hay, our boys loved the hay, and I love that there is much less waste! After changing out brands for about 2 years, I have gotten tired of not getting my money's worth, and I have since signed up to get this hay from Guineadad Auto-shipped. The price isn't terrible, just a few dollars more than I was paying for the other brands. Since there isn't as much wasted hay, the hay is lasting us longer as well. I also love the other products we have purchased from Guineadad (two liners, pea flakes, ect.). I highly recommend them!

Bubble and Squeak love Guinea dads hay!! It's so clean and hardly any dust...Mom has asthma and this hay doesn't make her wheeze! She doesn't need to wear a mask anymore! We have a subscription and Paula and Sean help us when we need a timing adjustment! All good for us!!
I don't hang up the hay bar, I open them up and dump the hay in a big laundry bin and give my piggies piles of fresh hay every day. The quality is consistently the best I have found!
