My piggie Rex took right to this hay and dug right in the hole and ate more than I have seen her ever eat. Also, being we got 3 boxes this will last her a long time so in the long run it really isn’t that more expensive cause I don’t have to throw a lot out anymore.

Pea flakes are everything to my piggies. It's the treat they want more than any other treat. Quite absurdly, they will sit with hats on and let me take photos and video for social media - as long as the reward is a pea flake. I'm so glad I made the decision to get this liner! My little guy loves the pocket, and he seems to enjoy the feel of the premium liner underneath his feet. I love that it can easily be washed and used as long as you need it, and guinea pig pee does not soak through onto the bottom of the cage, which is great. I've noticed that hay and guinea pig hair will eventually stick to the liner, so I started vacuuming it before I wash it, which seems to help. Also, certain parts of the liner become soiled pretty quickly, so I'll probably buy the pee mats to put on those places. All in all, the premium liner has been amazing for me and my little guy, and I am very happy to have found GuineaDad. Thank you for all that you do!

A safe place for munching a big bowl of Guinea Dad Timothy Hay. :) It is very well made—thank you, Guinea Dad—I took off one star because it’s a bit bigger than I expected—I have a large cage (biggest you can get) but it just didn’t seem to “fit” anywhere but in the loft because the cage is “long” rather than “wide” (hopefully that makes sense). The girls seem to like it in the loft, though, so they’re happy. And happy piggies=happy piggy mama.

Our little rage potato (Harold) finally found a friend and he needed a good liner due to the... Ahem... Excess business being conducted in the piggy area. I can attest that it has held up very well! The other liners we had might not be the best but I think they will be an excellent donation for the SPCA. There are unfortunately a few misplaced potatoes that show up there and somewhere nice to sleep between homes would be nice 🙂. Thank you guinea dad! I’ve read the reviews prior to buying bcuz It’s a great idea and definitely great quality hay. It just took my boys a learning curve to figure it out. So I was sad at first, thinking it wasn’t going to work out for them. But this company is amazing with responding if you ever have questions or need help with any of their products. I got some tips and it’s gotten better. Plus the compact hay falls down to their litter box below- so this is A GAME CHANGER. If your boys/girls are lazy like mine- don’t be discouraged! It gets better. I will never go back to refilling hay bins used to fill up their litter box- my allergies are also very thankful.

I love the hay as much as my guineas do! No more stuffing hay from a big bag into a messy rack multiple times a day! This thing lasts around two weeks! Just tie it on, open the perforated sections, and the guineas know what to do! I highly recommend it- and because the hay is so tightly packed and the openings are small, you can’t event smell the hay when you’re in the room!

Just got it and he already loves it! He popcorned his little heart out and ran through the cardboard tunnel that they came in. Obviously in the video he is uh just kind of staring at me because y'know, guinea pig. Don't mind the video game noises in the background lol. Originally we were just using a towel and felt blanket but they absolutely sucked to wash. His little turds just cling to the bloody felt like no tomorrow and the hay was akin to barnacles clinging to the side of a boat. If you're on the fence about buying these, save your sanity and invest in these bad boys. The whole felt and towel method is good temporarily but stuff can get trapped under and get moldy. Obviously cleaning often can prevent this- but mold can grow very quickly no matter how often you clean because towels take longer to dry under there and any hay that inevitably gets trapped under there is going to grow it- and mold is obviously the last thing you want near their sensitive little lungs. Sure it's a bit higher cost but personally I am happy to pay it to keep my little buddy healthy. Key point is it's an investment my guy, just buy it, vet bills cost far more. Support small business like a good human instead of being an absolute sock. Also you get a sticker which is amazing. Highly recommend getting the pee pads too. I put mine in his hay bin and under his uh "popular spots". They are great for replacing the bottoms in hideys too. Often the pet store hideys have the worst padding material in existence and also suck to wash. The padding is way better than the liners we had before which prevents bumble foot. Plus I would far prefer he gets a nice soft cushiony floor then a hard surface. Will definitely be being more stuff from guinea dad again. Lord Harold deserves the best. Sidenote because it needs stating, yes I am aware guinea pigs need buddies, Harold is a solo piggie because he chooses violence every day of his life. He was returned twice for this reason, signage was put up warning this to give you an idea of his temperament. So far he is very happy on his own since hang out a lot plus he free roams during the day. Obviously he might get a buddy in the future if we can somehow manage to get him to tolerate one. Also he has more toys than that I just didn't put them in yet lol. It should be noted that if this potato filled with pure rage and sass was happy with this liner, your guinea pig will definitely be happy with it. Perhaps this will sate him for a while and not choose to throw things in disapproval. Many thanks to you guinea dad. Oh also I live in Canada and it got here within the week. Excellent shipping and packing. Usually we have delivery issues because our city has used the same name 3 times in different areas but the courier they chose was awesome and had no issue delivering my order.

I bought this letter box/tray system about a year and an half ago for my bunny. Originally, it was fantastic! The package was off bunch of 1 bag+1 charcoal pad neatly wrapped together, The liners and charcoal pad came wrapped up individually and all you had to was unwrap it. I could stick a few quickly in my bag because they were flat if we were going somewhere. The month long. supply was small and easy to store. In addition, the bottom was square so it fit perfectly in the litterbox. However, the quality and care has gone downhill in the last 6-8 months. Now, the charcoal pads and liner bags come separate in a big plastic bag, and the bags are in one big roll like a traditional trash bag. The liners are just thrown in there. Now that they were not all wrapped up it took up A LOT more storage space than the wrapped bag combos. The bags themselves have now changed. They now have just have a line down the middle, no square bottom. You have to maneuver the bag to get it in. after unrolling it from the roll. then you place the pad in. The cardboard part is also thinner and not as deep. For something this price, I expected a bit more attention to detail. It feels as if the quality has gone distinctly downhill. This, and the ability to not even be able to purchase the liners and waffle trays separately is quite frustrating. Very disappointing, because originally I did love this product. Will likely be switching to a kitten in system something MUCH less expensive but just as much work.

My guineas are loving their new cage! Very spacious and not at all difficult to put together! I also got them the Timothy hay bag, sofas, castles and hidey tree stumps (which they are hiding behind). The liners I also purchased are so soft and I was surprised with how sturdy the ramp was after it was all put together. My Gizmo and Rocky are feeling very spoiled.

Game Changer! The loose hay was such a mess and we were throwing so much away since the guins were pooping/peeing in it. The Hay Box keeps the hay contained, reducing mess and waste. The hay is super fresh and the guins LOVE it. They crunch the box itself too. Having different options for openings on the box also gives them something interesting to engage with.
